EMMO ATON COMMUNITY PROGRAM (2013-2016)

1.0 GENERAL  INFORMATION

1.1   Core Outcome – Empowered Indigenous Families and Communities

1.2   Program –Integrated Community Development  Program

1.3   Program Goal – By the year 2016, partner families, groups and communities and able to manage, implement, network and advocate with GOs, NGOs/CSOs within their communities for the promotion of tourism, livelihood and community Development , supported by responsive policies.

1.4   Project –Emmo aton Community project

1.5   Project Objectives- 

1. To increase the access of families, groups and communities to GOs and NGOs basic services  through a strengthened Indigenous People’s mechanisms.

2. To strengthened the capacities of families, groups and communities towards          community participation and involvement.

1.6  Target Location – District 1 : Hungduan, Hingyon, Lagawe, Kiangan, Lamut. Asipulo , Tinoc

1.7 Target Groups – Barangays, schools and peoples’ organizations in District 1, province of Ifugao.

1.8 Time Frame – January  2014- June 2016

1.9 Managing Office –Office of BM Bimohya, SP Member Province of Ifugao.

1.10 Partner  Organizations/ Agencies –MLGUs, Barangay Councils, PTCAs,POs and Individuals.

EMMO  Aton PROJECTS:

·         EMMO PAKI- ISKULAN

The establishment of community based education initiatives include the generations of resources for the school such as books, facilities, educational materials  and scholarship/ financial assistance from generous partners and benefactors. The value sharing resources  to the needy and disadvantaged children and youth  will re-enforced the cultural values  of the Ifugao people  towards placing  children and youth  at the center of development. Donors/ benefactors can eventually adopt  a child and sustain the education his/ her education needs.  This will put emphasis of the innate value of the Ifugao people extend  assistance “baddang”  to the needy individual or groups

·         EMMO PAKI BOKLAAN

Employment opportunities will be created / generated  with the setting up of this system wherein college graduates and skilled out of school youth are being  provided with  information on job vacancies, job hiring and other job opportunities. Making this information available to them will facilitate  their access to employment opportunities  within and outside the province. Partnership with companies and institutions  will be given consideration for greater access to employment opportunities.

·         EMMO PAKI DANG- AHAN

                This includes all activities  that entails mutual economic assistance. (Dang-a) between and among community people. The IP practice of existing support to member/s of the  barangay who is/are in need will be strengthened in this initiative. The dang –a system  will encourage community participation and involvement and foster collective decision making and participatory governance.
