On December 12, 1965, Pacita Taguiling Bimohya gave birth to a son in Kiangan, Ifugao and named him Geronimo. She and his husband Ernesto Bimohya took care of this baby until he grew up as a grown man.

During his childhood, Geronimo 'emmo' Taguiling Bimohya started to attend school at Mungayang Elementary on 1979. And as he was growing up, he continued to attend for the secondary level at St. Joseph High in Kiangan, Ifugao In 1983. And In 2005, where he had grown to be a man, he finished his college study at St. Mary's University holding a Bachelor Degree in Public Administration.

Before graduating in college, 
Geronimo was a hardworking man, he struggled to work as a Machine Helper in 1987 to 1988 ,Miner in 1988 to 1990 and as a Farmer in 1991 until 1994.

On the latter of 1994, he decided to stop farming and tried to enter politics where he became the Barangay Captain of Mungayang, Kiangan, Ifugao. After his term, he worked as a Pension Manager for less than a year before he had been a Municipal Councilor of Kiangan for 3 terms in 1998 until 2007. He continued to work in the government office before he went to work in Korea in 2010 as an OFW.

Now, he came back again for politics where he recently won the election as the second Board Member of District 1 in the province of Ifugao. He is currently holding the chairmanship of the Committee of Tourism, Culture and Special Affairs, Vice Chairman of Committee on Appropriations and a member of 4 other important committees at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan including the Committee on Education.


Among his priorities as a Board Member focuses on the following:

E - Equity for all in terms of Education and Economic Development

M- Moral Recovery and Men Empowerment for Ifugao men to rise as good husbands, fathers and 
leaders of society

M- Marketing and Livelihood Development in the area of agri-tourism, trade and industry

O- Organizational Development and Strengthening of all Sectors of Society to become healthy and self 
reliant
